Information for Local, Out-of-State & International Families
Patients regularly travel from across the Southeast—including Alabama, Tennessee, and the Carolinas—as well as countries around the globe to access our 100% exclusive neuro-visual rehabilitation programs. We specialize in making your national or international journey as seamless, stress-free, and productive as possible.
Step 1: Schedule Your Intensive Evaluation
Long-distance and international care begins with a personalized consultation to organize your diagnostic process and travel timeline.
- Speak to Our Consultant: Call our office directly at +1 (770) 419-0400 to speak directly with our patient care consultant. They will answer your preliminary questions and coordinate your comprehensive evaluation block. No prior doctor referral is required.
- Records Review & Translation: Submit any previous optical, neurological, or occupational therapy records at least 7 business days prior to arrival. (Please ensure all international medical records are translated into English prior to submission).
- Customized Itinerary: Our consultant will help build a condensed, high-efficiency therapy schedule tailored specifically to your travel window.
Step 2: Clinic Location & Transit
Our specialized facility is easily accessible from major highways and the primary regional international airport hub.
Step 3: Where to Stay (Partner Lodging)
We recommend these local hotels near our clinic corridor. Be sure to ask about medical stay preferences when booking.
Step 4: Local Dining & Amenities
Step 5: Insurance, Financing & CareCredit
- CareCredit: We accept CareCredit to help manage out-of-pocket costs.
- International Payments: Coordinate with our consultant regarding accepted credit cards, electronic payment, or wire transfers.
- Out-of-Network: We provide itemized receipts for you to submit to your insurance for personal reimbursement.
- Medical vs. Vision: Coverage falls under major medical benefits, not routine vision insurance.
- Support: We provide Letters of Medical Necessity if required.
- HSA & FSA: Eligible for use with standard Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts.
